Need an application style guide?

A style guide is a reference point that sets standards for creating products/websites/apps within your organization. A guide can archive all the ui elements (colors, fonts, buttons, widgets, layout, imagery and iconography) we've established for your user interface. It normally comes in one of two forms - either a static guide (PDF) or a living guide (website). Guides are great references for developers to use to continue to build out your project. In a 'living guide we can also incorporate shared code snippets, widgets, and reusable elements.

We usually start out small and slowly evolve the guide over time. As additional applications come onboard, developers can refer to the guide and produce consistent results. (Instead of having each app built in a silo, or painfully re-inventing the wheel each time). We can then roll any new instances back into the guide - and grow it.

In one of the larger financial institutions, we've helped over 200+ applications adopt the corporate guide since it came online in 2005. That's a huge win for both brand compliance and keeping interfaces easy to use for customers.
